OK kids, we're back off hand-moderation. End of Time, and pix from filming, are still SPOILERS. And don't use spoilery icons! This means u!

(NZ gets EOT in mid-February, after which it all this lead shielding around spoilers can be removed. :)

I'm moderating the comm by hand right now, because about half the postings coming through don't have adequate SPOILER warnings. If your posting gets rejected with the message "SPOILER warning please!", just add something like this, then repost:

SPOILERS: End of Time, Eleventh Doctor trailer, Sarah Jane Adventures

( Don't just put the warning in the cut text. Not everyone can see it. And not just in the subject heading. Put it before the cut. )

Don't forget to put a SPOILER warning before the lj-cut text - not just in the cut text or in the subject heading of your posting. If you're not sure about spoiler policy, check the userinfo, or leave me a comment to this posting.

With The End of Time fast approaching, here's a reminder to put a SPOILER warning before your lj cut - if you only include it in the text of the cut, not everyone can see it, and you don't want to be the one who spoilers their ass now, do you?

Mod here. For the purposes of ihasatardis, the Eleventh Doctor's costume and companion aren't considered SPOILERS. However, pictures from filming are SPOILERS. They need a standard SPOILER heading, placed before the lj-cut. Like this:

In my modly wisdom I have decided that the identity of the new Doctor is NOT going to be treated as a spoiler here, because otherwise I'll have to be crushing skulls about it for a whole year. OK minions: now that Canada has seen all of Season 4, we'll be going off SPOILER protection for that season. That means that I won't be emergency deleting postings for uncut or unwarned spoilers or naughty spoiler icons - though it's still a good idea to cut and warn for any major plot points, just in case ( Read more... )
